How can I change music from my old iPod to my new iPod if not all of the music is on the computer I am using?

I used to live with my mom and that is when I first got an iPod. I now live with my dad and not all the music from my iPod is on this computer. I am getting a new iPod and would like to have all of my music on it with out having to buy it all over again. Is there a way?

I recommend you a tool that can copy all the movie/music/picture on ipod to local computer and import all of this to itunes library from your ipod directly. And it also easy to copy music from one ipod to another.

Here is a tip. All you need is to get all music/videos from your old iPod back to this computer and iTunes. In this case, all songs/videos are on your iTunes library that you can syn both iPods with whenever you wish to without deleting any files.

Simply use this handy program called Tansee iPod Transfer to help you http://www.gutensoft.com/Utilities/Tansee-iPod-Transfer.htm
Many of my friends are using it for its easy and safe transfer.

With just a few simple clicks, it will help you transfer all songs/videos from old iPod to your selected folder on your computer, and then you can easily add those files back to iTunes. More importantly, this won’t overwrite any original files on your iPod.And all song names are preserved.

Here is step-by-step guide on the whole process:

    Best luck!

you could backup your ipod stuff in your dad’s computer then sync new ipod with the computer. but the thing is, itunes doesnt do the backing up. right? so dont try to sync your ipod yet with dad’s pc, it might just clear out your ipod!

check out xilisoft ipod rip. literally means copy stuff from ipod to computer. ive used it and i was able to salvage my stuff when my laptop broke down :) works like a charm! goodluck
