@xSuchutki no the samsung spica’s offical 2.1 update is actually making the phone run slower than the previous firmware it had due to samsung not optimising it properly for the spica thats why its slow cause it is capable of faster speeds on the processor! and thats why people use the other samdroid stuff so that the phone is alot better and has newer features!
@patsybob wtf, you are looking at old firmware 2.0 >.>? and unofficial one? lulz
its seems abit slow for a 800mhz processor, i was thinking of getting this phone or the x10 mini pro but im not sure now :*( plus samsung have me worried that they will soon ditch updating the phone any further!
cooler than 2.1
it looks being pretty slow sometimes
Hi,nice video, you keyboard is QWERTY but if you change language, if ou put french,it becomes AZERTY ? thanks !!!!
Good job Russian friend!
Wow you have so many apps, I’m afraid to get as many as you have. For some reason my phone won’t download anymore! I don’t know what’s wrong I’ve only had it for a week!
There’s supposed to be an icon at the top that says its downloading but it’s stuck at “starting download” everytime! Aaah!
mine isn’t that slow and yes, i have galaxy portal/spica eclair 2.1
i totally enjoyed the music in this video!
@romadmike1
Seriously, it really looks slow, damn, I remember when my pc used to have 255MHz and it ran smooth as a babys ass!
800MHz processor and it doesn’t run smooth.. wtf is wrong with Android? Why doesn’t it run as sooth as an iPhone? If it would do that, i would go for android…
If you are going to purchase a Samsung android phone keep in mind they do not provide upgrade support. They released the I7500 in Dec. 09 and will not upgrade to 1.6, the current O/S is 2.1. If you are going to move to the andiron platform better to choose a manufacturer who is willing to keep the O/S current for a least 1 to 2 years. They even removed the O/S version on their website in order to dupe potential purchasers of a dead phone.
any news on 2.1 for i7500?
It does not seems to have any opengl hw acceleration with this android version. Will it be ever?
Omnia 2 have the same cpu with opengl 2.0 that is preatty fast under windows mobile 6.5.
I know android only support for opengl 1.0, but s3c6410 is compatible with gles 1.0.
This is Home application from Samsung, not standart Android Launcher
when you look in “drop-down menu, how do you do in order to scroll horizontally instead of vertically? =)
is there anyone who knows how to revert back to android 1.5 ?? i just installed 2.1 and phone lags like frikin hell !! please help ! i want 1.5 back please !
Это глубокая бета, уже есть вполне работающий 2.1, сильно тормозит Home от Самсунга
Видео информативное, спасибо. Вот только заметил что иногда притормаживает, это всегда так???
We have Android 2.1 for i5700 already, use google: samdroid i5700 2.1

where from you downloaded & how you installed android 2 in i5700 which has android 1.5 ?
