What is a search engine school and how can you tell if it is the best search engine school available? Since anyone can create an online school, especially a search engine school, you must be very careful when you make your selection. Who are these people? What are their credentials? Where did they get their education? What makes them so worthy of taking your money?

The truth of the matter is that search engines are very tricky. If you claim you can successfully dominate a search engine and you are confident enough to teach it, it means that you better be able to prove it.

When looking for a search engine school you should look for four key elements:

1. Make sure that the course is geared to your learning level. If you are brand new to Internet Marketing, you want to make sure you have found a program that will cater. And of course, if you have a large amount of experience, you need a program that is going to get into more detail.

2. Make sure they lend themselves to your learning style whether it be visual, text or auditory.

3. Know exactly what they intend to teach you. Are they going to show you how to conquer only the Yahoo search engine, or will they be more broad and teach you on a more general basis that can be applied to all search engines?

4. Do you have access to the instructors or did they simply compile information for you to read? If you do not have access to someone to clarify what you find in the material, then it is not worth your time nor your money.

One warning is that if you are considering a Search Engine School, make sure that you have an option to continue on as a student or member. The reason I suggest this is because Google, Yahoo and MSN are constantly changing what they deem as important in order to get you ranked high in their search engine. If you are not a member of a community that can educate you on the new way to dominate search engines, then you really are no further ahead then where you began. Another option is a service that will update you in the future, but this is not the best option.

Lastly, I believe the best way to determine whether or not a program is best for you, is to speak to existing students or members. Find someone that is currently involved in that search engine education and ask them questions. Get some honest answers about the strengths and weaknesses. This is very easy to do just by searching online.

If someone likes a program they are going to post it somewhere on the internet. When they do that, there is a good chance that you will find it since the program is about dominating search engines- and let’s be honest, they better be able to find you, or else I would wager the program really isn’t that good.
