I am following several people on twitter, do they need to be following me as well, to see my posts?

sucks
no they see it – as long as you are following them..
Hi there
Everyone has a chance to see your replies in their main screen. However, if they have now included your user name (IE @ImmaChocoholic) then the chances of them seeing that you said something directly to them are very remote.
Perhaps what you have so say is something you want to keep just between the two of you. In this case you would have to be following each other and send a private DM. (IE D ImmaChocoholic)
I believe that if someone has their Twitter account locked to members only that they will see your tweet with their user ID, but they will not be able to respond to that info until they follow you.
TIP: The best way to follow what is being said on Twitter IS NOT Twitter. Many people have many different preferred options. Twitter’s own @BodyByChocolate option happens to be TweetDeck.
Hope that helps

Yes , they should follow you to see your posts, if you are following them you see their posts, and they will not see your posts until they follow you.
