@blazingswrd Wrong. All of the other iPhones and even the iPad have 256MB of RAM… iPhone 4 will be the first to have 512MB… iPad and iPhone 3Gs are going to run multitasking with 256MB just fine even though iPhone and iPhone 3G have 256 as well.
@DaleHerringTV actually its because the older generations dont have enough ram to multitask to apple’s standards
@Brambite this is because the processing speed/power on some of the older devices just won’t cut it for Multitasking.
im more exited for the new iphone hardware! that with this software update is defff. gonna make this phone great1
i love how every year iphone releases “new” updates to the phone…yet you can just crack your iphone and get all the goodies.
Mac are money suckers..
en will thuis come out
jiggle jiggle jiggle!!!!
yeah, but even a retard knows they would never do that because they would lose so many sales because several people will not buy the new one.
Jon you really really really say ‘go ahead and’ wayyyy to much. Everything you say has ‘go ahead and’ before it.
Other that that I love the videos of course, I’m not hating!
AHH i can’t wait! x]
@Brambite you should be happy that they are giving support for older devices. They could just make you buy the new iPhone/iPod touch.
@tehblckdeth 2nd gen iTouch can get 4.0 , but not included some feature. like multitasking.
what is up with the youtube feature. i like the old one better.
I’m not so sure do I even want to have multitasking.
It’s nice thing to have, but not necessary for me. I don’t actually like that when you press the home-button app doesn’t close and you have to manually close it in the task manager.
I think it would be better if one short press closes the app and goes to homescreen, but if you press home-button longer it goes to homescreen but leaves app open. That way you can choose if you want to multitask and don’t have to manually close those apps.
they should add where you can have different Email sounds (add 2-4 second song/sound) to tell you you’ve got mail, the sound on it now is getting old lol =/
Is there a set date for 4.0 yet? And will 2nd Gen iPod Touch users get 4.0? Retenger (SP?) Rules
That’s so cool! Can’t wait!!!
Very interesting…
@cvbcbcmv that thing is 3 years old now. time to upgrade
@cvbcbcmv 1′st gen ipod touches couldnt posibly handle 4.0 smoothly enough to make it worth getting the firmware so its not exactly a bad thing, though it does suck a bit
I’m so ready for OS 4.0 to be released, I’ll definitely install it instead of the jailbreak I currently have.
1′st gen ipod touch users don’t get 4.0. I’m so mad!
yep can’t wait for os 4 some cool features
how were u able to install it i have been having lots of problems
OS getting messy…
